iPhone Screen Replacement in Pakistan: Original Display, Copy Panels and What to Check

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Should I replace my iPhone screen at a market shop or an authorised centre?

A cracked iPhone screen is the most common repair people ask about, and it is where the part grade matters most. A cheap panel can look fine on the counter and still let you down a week later. Here is what Apple says can go wrong with non-genuine displays, and how to check the repair yourself.

What can go wrong with a copy iPhone screen?

Apple lists the problems it sees with non-genuine displays. They are a useful test list when you collect the phone.

  • Touch that does not respond on parts of the screen, or touches registering in the wrong place.
  • Touches registering during a call, or the display not turning off during calls.
  • True Tone not working, and the screen dimming or brightening at the wrong time.
  • Colours that look wrong compared with before.
  • Problems that only appear after an iOS update that includes display changes.

How to check the new screen before you pay

Test it at the counter, not at home. Drag an app icon slowly across every edge of the screen. Make a call and see whether the screen goes dark against your ear. Open Control Centre and check that True Tone is there. Then open Settings > General > About: on iPhone 11 and later, Apple's Parts and Service History shows the display as Genuine, Used or Unknown.

Apple also warns that a repair which does not put back the screws and covers correctly can leave loose parts inside that damage the battery. Ask the technician whether all the screws went back in.

Screen protector, glass only, or full display?

If only the screen protector is cracked, replace that first; the screen underneath may be fine. Some shops offer to replace only the front glass instead of the whole display. Ask exactly which one they are quoting, because the two are not the same job or the same price.

Where to go in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad

For a genuine Apple display with Apple's warranty, Mercantile Care lists service centres in Lahore and Islamabad. Karachi buyers who want an authorised repair should check Apple's own provider locator before deciding. Market repair counters are concentrated in Hafeez Centre in Lahore and Amma Tower in Saddar, Karachi. We do not recommend individual shops.

iPhone screen replacement price in Pakistan

We have not printed a rupee price on this page. Apple does not publish Pakistan repair prices, and Samsung Pakistan's own repair price page showed only AED prices for Fold and Flip models when we checked on 13 October 2026. Market prices change with the part grade and the dollar rate, so get a written quote that names the part before any work starts.

Questions people ask

Why is True Tone missing after my iPhone screen replacement?

Apple lists True Tone not working as one of the problems that can happen with a non-genuine display. Ask the shop which part they fitted.

What is the iPhone screen replacement price in Pakistan?

It depends on the model and the part grade, and Apple does not publish Pakistan prices. Ask for a written quote that names the part: original, used or copy.

Does a copy screen affect resale value?

Apple says an Unknown part might affect the trade-in value of your iPhone, and buyers who check Parts and Service History will see it.
