Check the battery status first

Samsung's support pages describe two ways. In the Samsung Members app, open the Support tab, tap Get Started under Phone diagnostics, then tap Battery status. Or open Settings > Device care > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics, available on Galaxy phones running Android 12 or later. Menu names can vary by model and software.

• Normal: Samsung says there are no performance issues with the battery.
• Weak: efficiency may have dropped through long use or conditions.
• Bad: battery life has significantly degraded, and Samsung advises visiting a Samsung support centre.

Before you blame the battery

If the result is Normal but the phone still drains fast, check Settings > Device care > Battery for an app using too much power, and install pending updates. A battery swap will not fix a misbehaving app.

Original vs copy Galaxy batteries

A Samsung authorised service centre fits Samsung batteries. A market shop may offer an original pulled battery or a third-party cell; ask which, and how long the warranty is. Many Galaxy phones have a glued back, so a battery job also means resealing the back. Ask whether the water resistance will be resealed.

Watch the phone in the first weeks after any battery job. Swelling, heat or a back panel that lifts is a reason to stop using it and go back.

Samsung battery replacement price in Pakistan

Samsung Pakistan's repair price page did not list battery prices when we checked on 13 October 2026. Samsung says final repair prices depend on the product's condition. Ask the service centre or shop for a written quote that names the battery.
