Airlink Communication's where-to-buy page (page last modified 27 March 2026, checked 4 October 2026) lists this Larkana partner for the brands it distributes, including Samsung, Xiaomi, Tecno and itel. The same page shows a second Larkana name without any address, which we leave out.

• Shiraz Communication, Main Market

Service for China phones near Larkana

Carlcare, the after-sales service brand for Tecno, Infinix and itel, lists Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur in Sindh but not Larkana (checked 3 October 2026). Keep the bill and box of a brand new Infinix or Tecno for a warranty claim in Sukkur.

IMEI tampering in upper Sindh: the Pano Aqil raid

PTA said that on 19 April 2025 its Sukkur zonal office and the FIA's cybercrime centre raided a phone shop in the mobile market of Old Sabzi Mandi, Pano Aqil, seizing a laptop, a USB device with CM2 software used for IMEI tampering, and five handsets; the shop owner was arrested. Pano Aqil is in Sukkur district, not Larkana, but it shows that tampering tools are in use in the region. Check every IMEI with 8484 and make sure the reply names the phone in your hand.

PTA check before you buy a phone in Larkana

Check PTA status before you pay, not after. In Sindh this is your main check, because we found no provincial stolen-phone app for buyers.

Dial *#06# on the phone, match that IMEI to the box and the bill, then send the IMEI by SMS to 8484 before any money changes hands. The PTA status guide explains each reply. The News reported on 10 May 2024 that smuggled phones are 'patched' with duplicated or cloned IMEIs to get past PTA's DIRBS system, that patching is illegal under PECA 2016, and that PTA had blocked 35 million IMEIs by 30 December 2023. A patched phone can work today and be blocked later.

If a phone is non-PTA and you plan to register it yourself, look up the FBR amount in the PTA tax guide before you agree a price.

• Ask in plain words: PTA approved, non-PTA, or patched?
• Get a bill, or for a private sale a written note, with the IMEI, the price, the date and the seller's phone number.
• Put your own SIM in and make a call before you leave.
• For a second hand phone, test the screen, cameras, speakers, charging port and battery; the inspection guide has a checklist.
