Mobile Market Kasur 2026: Railway Road Shops, Second Hand Mobiles, PTA

Mobile shops on Railway Road, Kasur

Airlink Communication's where-to-buy page (page last modified 27 March 2026, checked 4 October 2026) lists these Kasur retail partners for the brands it distributes, including Samsung, Xiaomi, Tecno and itel. It is a distributor's list, not a ranking, and shops can leave it.

• Ali Mobile, Railway Road
• Fast Mobiles, Railway Road

Kasur or Lahore for a second hand mobile?

Stay in Kasur for a brand new phone from a listed counter or a used set from someone you can find again. Go to Lahore when you want to compare many counters. Hafeez Centre in Gulberg has new, used and repair counters. Hall Road is the older market. The Express Tribune has reported that flea markets at Hall Road and Lahore's Container Market became notorious for stolen phones with altered IMEIs, so a cheap Hall Road set needs every check on this page.

Stolen phone check: e-Gadget

Punjab Police's e-Gadget app, developed with the Punjab Information Technology Board and available on Android and iOS, lets you enter an IMEI to see whether it has been reported stolen or lost. Run it on any second hand phone, along with the 8484 check.

Punjab Police told The Express Tribune that shops buying or repairing phones must register on e-Gadget and record the identity of the person selling the phone and its IMEI. If a Kasur counter buys your old phone, expect to show your CNIC.

China phones and service

Carlcare, the after-sales service brand for Tecno, Infinix and itel, lists Kasur in its Pakistan service-centre finder (checked 3 October 2026). That is useful if you buy a brand new China phone from these brands: the warranty counter is in town.

PTA check before you buy a phone in Kasur

Check PTA status before you pay, not after.

Dial *#06# on the phone, match that IMEI to the box and the bill, then send the IMEI by SMS to 8484 before any money changes hands. The PTA status guide explains each reply. The News reported on 10 May 2024 that smuggled phones are 'patched' with duplicated or cloned IMEIs to get past PTA's DIRBS system, that patching is illegal under PECA 2016, and that PTA had blocked 35 million IMEIs by 30 December 2023. A patched phone can work today and be blocked later.

If a phone is non-PTA and you plan to register it yourself, look up the FBR amount in the PTA tax guide before you agree a price.

• Ask in plain words: PTA approved, non-PTA, or patched?
• Get a bill, or for a private sale a written note, with the IMEI, the price, the date and the seller's phone number.
• Put your own SIM in and make a call before you leave.
• For a second hand phone, test the screen, cameras, speakers, charging port and battery; the inspection guide has a checklist.

What we could not verify

We did not find official market timings, closed days, or a list of Kasur phone shops on a brand, distributor, government or major news page. We have not copied shop names from map or directory sites, and we do not print market prices we cannot source.
